• Plan tier, renewal status, transaction metadata (timestamps, amounts). We do not store complete payment card numbers; payment processors handle that.

Device, Usage & Cookies

• Device/browser info, IP address, language, time zone, app version, pages viewed, feature usage, referral URLs, cookies/SDK identifiers.

Affiliate & Outbound Link Signals

• Clicks on outbound retailer/affiliate links and related parameters (to attribute referrals and comply with retailer program rules).

Sensitive Categories

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health data) unless you provide it voluntarily in UGC. Please avoid sharing sensitive information in public content.

9) Schools, Libraries, and Sponsored Programs

When you access the Service through a sponsor (school, library, employer):

• The sponsor may receive participation and progress data for administration and reporting.
• We act as an independent controller for platform operations and as a processor for sponsor-directed activities, as defined in our sponsor agreement and applicable law.
• We can provide a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) upon request for eligible sponsors.

10) Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Participants under 18 should have a parent/guardian or authorized educator/library admin accept the Terms and this Policy on their behalf where required.

11) Data Retention

• Account data: kept while your account is active and for up to 24 months after inactivity or closure (unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes).
• Quiz results, badges, certificates, and challenge history: retained to support product features, audit integrity, and your records.
• Logs and analytics: typically 12–24 months.
• Marketing preferences and opt-out records: maintained as required to honor your choices.

12) Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13) International Data Transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.
